The ninth playing of the SCGA Senior Four-Ball Championship begins Monday at Moorpark CC where the field of 65 teams will try to dethrown the duo of Herb Jensen and Mark Miller, who last year won the event by two strokes.
Also competing in the event is the team of Rich Tolly and Boyd Martin, who will look to capture their third Senior Four-Ball title after having won the event in 2007 and 2010.
Participants, who all have Handicap Index' below 7.4 and are at least 55 years of age, compete in the 36-hole, two-day event in two-person teams.
The Moorpark CC course was designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy, and offers panoramic views of the Channel Islands. Secluded in the canyons and citrus groves the three distinct and returning nines - Creekside, Ridgeline and Canyon Crest, will provide a tough test for competitors.
