If you are interested in volunteering and giving back to the game you love, please join SCGA Foundation juniors and staff for lunch and golf at Brookside GC next month. You’ll learn more about how to get involved with the Foundation and meet some of the juniors who benefit from its programs.

"Being a member of G.A.M.E Club has given me the opportunity to meet new people, play private courses, learn about my career options and learn more information for applying for college. It has also been a lot of fun and I have made many friends."
"Being a G.A.M.E. Club member always has its advantages, like meeting new people, making new friends and having fun at the same time. I get to come to wonderful country clubs and play at their courses. And my brother and I can also receive buckets of balls and rounds of golf for low prices."
“There are so many skills I acquire while playing golf. Many of those skills are used in life. One life skill is honesty. You need to tell the correct score for every hole when you are playing. Another is commitment and dedication. You need these two things to get really good at golf. Without it, you would just be an average golfer. Then you also acquire that skill of never giving up. This is very true because many people always play poorly, but it is the one that does not give up that becomes better.”
“I believe that the game of golf has helped me prepare for my future in multiple ways. For example, golf has given me the ability to remain calm in rough situations. The game of golf has also helped me think more about my choices on and off the course.”
“Golf has made me stronger in my confidence toward life and in school. I am now more confident in the decisions that I make on and off the golf course. ”
