Individual Awards
The individual champion will receive a Gold Champion medal, crystal trophy, and his name will be engraved on the Pacific Coast Amatuer Championship Perpetual Trophy. Individuals finishing second through 10th will also receive medals.
Morse Cup Team Matches Awards
The winning association holds the Morse Cup Trophy for one year. Each team member receives a Gold Championship Medal. Each member of the team(s) finishing in second and third place will also receive medals.

How to Enter
The Pacific Coast Amateur Championship has a long and proud history as one of North America's premier amateur championships. Some of the greatest names in golf have participated in our event over the years, including Johnny Miller, Hale Irwin, Peter Jacobsen, John Cook, Fred Couples, Cory Pavin and Billy Mayfair to name just a few.
Following this strong tradition, entry into the Pacific Coast Amateur Championship is by invitation only.
Presidental Invitation
Individuals may request consideration to receive a Presidential Invitation to compete in the Championship. This should be done at the earliest possible date by submitting a letter or email request to the PCGA Recruiting Committee, which MUST be accompanied by a list of major golf accomplishments. A limited number of Presidential Invitations are available and will be extended based on merit. Requests and resumes should be sent to:

PCGA Member Association Exemptions
Each Pacific Coast Golf Association (PCGA) member amateur golf association is annually afforded three exemptions to extend to their finest players. Each PCGA member assocation has its own method for indentifying players to receive exemptions (points system, state amateur champion, subjective selections, etc.). A list of the 17 PCGA member associations and their contact informations is listed here.Tournament Format
Individual: The individual Championship shall be conducted over 72 holes of stroke play. In the event of a tie, the champion shall be determined by a hole-by-hole playoff.
Morse Cup Team Matches: PCGA member associations only. The three exempt players designated by each PCGA member association comprise its Morse Cup team. The Morse Cup Team Matches shall be conducted over the first 36 holes of the Championship. The two low scores of the three players each day will be totaled to determine the winning team. In the event of a tie, the Management Committee will determine the manner by which the tema champion is identified.
MORSE CUP TEAM COMPETITION
Each Pacific Coast Golf Association member selects three people to play as its team. The best two of three scores each day of rounds 1 and 2 count for the team score.GALLERY AND ADMISSION
