The 8th SCGA Senior Four-Ball Net Championship begins this Tuesday and Wednesday at the River Course at the Alisal in Solvang. The 36-hole championship is open to two-person teams, with both individuals over the age of 50 and having an active current Handicap Index not exceeding 18.4. All players will play 18 Holes on Tuesday and 18 Holes on Wednesday.
Both days of the tournament will be played with the Four-Ball Net Format (two person better ball). Each individual will play to 90% (Men) and 95% (Women) of their Course Handicap. After the 90%/95% reduction, if the partners’ Course Handicap differs by more than 8 strokes, an additional 10% reduction will be applied to their Course Handicap.
The River Course at the Alisal is one of Southern California’s greatest getaways, as it is tucked away in the wonderful small town of Slovang. Nestled away amongst the hills and vineyards of the Santa Ynez Valley, the River Course at the Alisal offers not only great golf, but also magnificent views and a relaxing atmosphere.
