Doug started rating courses as the USGA’s Manager of Course Rating and Handicap Services in 1989. He has since worked at multiple regional golf associations throughout the country in various capacities. In addition, Doug is a member of USGA Course Rating Committee.
What is your most memorable Course Rating experience?
"Rating Torrey Pines the week before the U.S. Open in 2008."
What is your favorite part about your job?
"Working with our dedicated volunteers who give so much back to the game of golf."
