Great Event that has raised close to 500K for the Semper Fi Fund in the short time this scramble has been around. There is a great social the night before that will feature a presentation by Ty Carter, medal of honor recipient. Funds raised go directly to the Semper Fi Fund.

Welk Resorts San Diego will host the first annual Patriots on the Green Charity Golf Tournament benefiting the Wounded Warriors Project, a charity and veterans service organization that offers programs, services and events for wounded veterans. Following a tribute to 9/11 heroes, there will be a fun fast-paced scramble format tournament with military personnel, veterans and fellow golfers, followed by lunch and awards ceremony.

The IWLA Orange Chapter Club House will host a fun charity tournament in scramble format with no handicaps, on September 26, 2015. You are allowed to play skin games, but one score for the scramble is to be turned in. The prizes and drawings is where the fun is! So if you do not win, do not worry, there are plenty of chances to win in the raffles. On the day of, report to the IWLA clubhouse before you enter the gates of the GC on the left. $70 includes a Mexican catered food fiesta after play with free beer at the turn (keg). Water and Sodas are available too. If enough players sign up two weeks prior to the date, it will be a shotgun start. All proceeds go to our inter-city kids fishing and scouts programs. Registration will be from 7am-9am, with play scheduled to go off at 9am.
